Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol has always been and will continue to be, committed to
maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal and
financial information. As part of this commitment, we have established this
Privacy Policy to govern our actions as they relate to the use of customer
information. Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol invites you to review their principles, which
have been built upon the values set by the Canadian Standards Association's Model
Code for the Protection of Personal Information and Canada's Personal Information
Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Accountability
Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol is
responsible for maintaining and protecting the customer information under its
control. In fulfilling this mandate, Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol is required to
designate an individual or individuals who is/are
accountable for the Company's compliance with the corporate Privacy Policy.
Identifying Purposes
The purposes for which customer
information is collected shall be identified before or at the time the
information is collected. At the time of
writing, information collected by Powder Patrol by holders of the Powder Patrol
Membership Card, will be used for compiling niche market studies for promotions
of industry related goods and services.
Information pertaining directly to the cardholder such as name, address,
phone number, postal code and email will not be sold or traded to any third
parties add is not directly made available to our business clients or other associate
companies by Powder Patrol. Par
Patrol Inc. may at its sole discretion, contact you from time-to-time via a
medium of their discretion, regarding certain matters or promotions that may be
of interest to you. Your option to
request said information upon membership card activation governs the right to
Powder Patrol’s options for contacting you.
Consent
The knowledge and consent of the customer are required
for the collection, use or disclosure of customer information except where
required or permitted by law.
Limiting Collection
The customer information collected
must be limited to those details necessary for the purposes identified by
Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol Information must be collected by fair and lawful means.
Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Customer information may only be used or disclosed for
the purpose for which it was collected unless the customer has otherwise
consented, or when it is required or permitted by law.
Accuracy
Customer information must be maintained in as accurate,
complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which
it is to be used.
Safeguarding Customer Information
Customer information must be protected by security
safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. All personal
information which is collected must be readily available to the specific person at all
times; or where this is not possible, must be available to the specific person upon written
request with 14-days of receipt of request. All information collection must comply with
the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Openness & Customer Access
Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol is required to make information
available to customers concerning the policies and practices that apply to the
management of their information.
Customers may verify the accuracy and completeness of their information,
and may amend such information at their sole discretion.
Handling Customer Complaints and Suggestions
Cardholders may direct any
question or enquires with respect to the privacy principles outlined above or
about our practices by contacting a Par Patrol representative via
email. All inquiries should be directed

Modification
Powder Patrol Inc. / Par Patrol reserves the right to change, manipulate,
adjust or otherwise modify this policy and any other terms and conditions
subject to cardholders, at any time at their sole discretion and without
advance notification.
